About your new role:

CommandLink is seeking a detail-oriented Service Disconnect Coordinator to manage the processing of telecom service disconnections. This role is vital to ensuring accurate and timely service terminations, minimizing unnecessary costs, and maintaining customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in telecom service disconnects.

We operate 100% remotely across the US. No travel to customer locations is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the lifecycle of disconnect requests, including initiation, validation, and execution.
• Communicate with telecom vendors to confirm service termination and resolve any issues related to the disconnect process.
• Work closely with customer success teams to confirm client authorization and provide updates on disconnect statuses.
• Ensure all records, including account numbers, circuit IDs, and termination details, are accurately documented in internal systems.
• Identify potential early termination (ETF) fees and collaborate with vendor management teams to negotiate waivers or reductions.
• Maintain detailed logs of disconnect requests, disputes, and resolutions for audit purposes.
• Suggest enhancements to streamline the disconnect process and reduce errors.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including vendor management, billing, and technical support, to ensure a seamless disconnect process.

What you'll need for success:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the telecommunications industry
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Service Delivery and/or service disconnects
• Experience with telecom service disconnects or provisioning processes is a must
• Hands-on experience in VoIP, SDWAN Implementation, and Internet Circuit ordering with carriers
• Ability to document dependencies and priorities clearly 
• Proficient in effectively managing third-party resources
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Familiarity with telecom services, circuit IDs, and vendor processes
• Understanding of disconnect policies for major telecom vendors is a plus
