Location: Fort Myers, FL – On-site (3660 Broadway)

Position purpose:

Under the direct supervision of the Infrastructure Network Manager and the IS Senior Supervisor, the Network and Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining Radiology Regional’s infrastructure, assistance with telecom, network and systems support . This position will also help maintain all security devices and support all security policies, procedures, and technical systems to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all organizational information systems. Performs other related duties with the job classification or organizations as necessary.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

  • Support and assist the IS team in their day-to-day duties.
  • Assist managing systems - including troubleshooting, patching, and constantly looking for ways to improve security, reliability, and performance. This includes but is not limited to firewalls, switches, wireless, and infrastructure systems.
  • Help develop, plan, and implement the overall strategic goals of Radiology Regional’s and the overarching LucidHealth IS systems. This includes evaluating and recommending improvements to the current and future design and standards.
  • Ensure that systems and services are compliant with all applicable industry standards to maintain the security and integrity of our network infrastructure.
  • Provide support to the Telecom Administrator with the VoIP System and maintaining the transport layer.
  • Manage and support Wireless Infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other Networking, Telecom and Systems staff.
  • Run network cables and terminate per standards where necessary at all sites.
  • Coordinate and communicate with approved third party vendors to install as necessary.
  • Support and maintain VPN Connections for both Users and Vendors.
  • Assist with monitoring systems in place to ensure all devices are performing as expected.
  • Document infrastructure related assets and procedures.
  • Be an escalation point for systems and network support calls.
  • Follow IS best practices related to Risk, Security and Practice Management. This would include recommending      enhancements to how we operate to ensure the security of our environments.
  • Work with the systems team to maintain a regular backup of all devices as needed.
  • Work with vendors, outside consultants, and other third parties to improve information security within the organization.
  • Stay current      on new technology and industry practices.
  • Support all production systems and respond to situations 24x7x365 as appropriate to minimize the business impact of system deficiencies/failures.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings and on-the-job training programs as required.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all patient health information (HIPAA).
  • Performs other related duties within the job classification or organization as necessary or as assigned by members within the overall LucidHealth Infrastructure team.
  • Exercises discretion and independent judgement in regards to your daily responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting routing, switching and firewall platforms required. Familiarity with Unifi and Mikrotik a plus.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting Active Directory, Azure (Entra), Mimecast as well as Citrix
