The Event Medicine Coordinator provides both clinical and operational support to the Event Medicine Team, ensuring seamless coverage and high-quality care across all events. In addition to delivering immediate emergency care to critically ill or injured patients during scheduled shifts, this role oversees key coordination functions that support efficient and effective operations. The position requires a high level of flexibility in scheduling and a strong depth of experience to adapt confidently to a variety of fast-paced and unpredictable environments. 


This role also contributes to the planning and implementation of new equipment, procedures, and policies, while serving as a primary liaison between the team and venue partners. Through strong communication and collaboration, the coordinator helps maintain operational excellence and a consistent standard of care across all event settings. 


A caregiver in this position works part-time| day/evening/night/weekend| 3:00pm—11:00pm or 4:00pm—12:00am| shifts will fluctuate to fill gaps/events/PTO coverage, etc.  

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Assure department is ready and staffed 24/7 to provide the level of service in accordance with our venue contracts. 

  • Coordinate, monitor, and control supply and equipment inventory for Event Medicine First Aid Rooms. 

  • Work with ancillary departments such as Supply Chain, Clinical Engineering, and IT to ensure supplies and equipment are within CC standards. 

  • Rotate stock within defined areas and remove outdated items. 

  • Notify manager of back orders and works to identify alternative product of supply stream. 

  • Resolve shipping and receiving issues directly with vendors and carriers. 

  • Verify accuracy of receipts, ensuring orders are filled correctly. 

  • Assist with payroll as needed. 

  • Create, update, and publish department schedules. 

  • Assist with obtaining coverage for special events and coord
