We are seeking a Senior SQL Server DBA/Developer to join our team who will be responsible for developing and testing software code and meeting customer needs, based on development rules set by your lead. The responsibilities of the Senior SQL Server DBA/Developer include:

Working closely with application developers to design, test, implement, perfect and maintain efficient transactional and analytical data models.
Leading/engaging in tuning, upgrade, and configuration projects to enhance performance and ensure stability.
Optimizing and keeping backup jobs and schedules as well as maintain Production, DR and Development environments.
Troubleshooting database and data issues as they occur.
Supplying Ad Hoc data reporting and data pulls for Analytics teams.
Performing various ad-hoc data loading and data manipulation tasks.
Managing routine data exports for clients, partners, and SMEs.
Creating and managing scheduled tasks and data processing scripts.
Documenting data collection, processing, and presentation procedures.
Helping support architecture and process flow diagrams for data systems.

Requirements

7+ years of experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar role.
Extensive IT experience using database technologies, specifically Microsoft SQL Server and analytical databases.
Advanced experience in writing, debugging, optimizing and performance tuning stored procedures, views, UDFs and complex Transact SQL (T-SQL) Queries for highly concurrent OLTP (online transactional processing) systems.
Extensive experience writing Transact SQL (T-SQL) Queries, dynamic queries, indexes, constraints, views, functions.
Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
Familiarity with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
Leads the design, development, and planning for solutions and technology standards to solve complex business problems
Works with business, support, or development teams recommending system improvements.
Responsible for the core database development for a custom application.
Experience with SQL Server Integration services (SSIS).
Experience managing multi-DB environment setup (Including production).
Extensive experience in maintenance of highly concurrent OLTP (online transactional processing) systems.
Prior experience troubleshooting SQL Server service data issues and able to solve it without causing data loss.
