Distribution Team Lead - 1st Shift - $32/hour

Work Flexibility: Onsite

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6 AM until 3 PM

What you will do:

The Distribution Team Lead drives performance in quality, delivery, and cost efficiency, partnering with the supervisor and management to align with business strategy. This role involves coaching and developing team members, ensuring accurate same-day shipments to various destinations including hospitals and clinics.

• Perform accurate shipping transactions, manage parcel and freight activities, and ensure inventory control accuracy.

• Supervise and train outbound logistics staff while providing feedback on team performance to Distribution Supervisors.

• Support logistics solutions by overseeing all distribution processes and floor personnel.

• Resolve issues and improve processes by collaborating with other departments and 3rd party vendors.

• Ensure compliance with Stryker safety protocols and promote adherence to these procedures daily.

• Delegate responsibilities and assist the Distribution Supervisor in managing distribution personnel.

• Maintain a positive attitude towards work responsibilities and manage daily workload effectively.

• Utilize knowledge of processes, procedures, and systems to carry out tasks, acquired through experience, specialized education, or training.

What you need:

• 5+ years of experience required

• Work experience working in warehouse environment, distribution, shipping/receiving, or leadership preferred

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. above shoulder height and pass back screening

• Demonstrated leadership characteristics and capabilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; strong organization and planning abilities. Capable of carrying out verbal instructions and effectively addressing issues or concerns.
