Job Description
We’re on the hunt for a frontline professional that is an experienced, driven leader with a team player attitude and track record of success.
The Vice President of Sales will play a critical role in driving revenue by managing & expanding current sales team, assisting in contract negotiations, and being a cross functional leader at SpectraMedix. Specifically, the VP of Sales will motivate, inspire, and build new Value-Based Payment revenue opportunities across health plans and health systems nationally. This hands-on, “roll-up-your-sleeves” position requires a high-energy, well-rounded sales leader who can contribute to growing a sales team while effectively pursuing new business opportunities. The VP of Sales will lead our large size deals in collaboration with marketing and customer success teams. Along with identifying and developing new sales opportunities, you will have a deep understanding in operating/contributing to a high-performance sales team including lead generation and qualification, pipeline and opportunity management, proposal and presentation best practices, and managing overall opportunities from qualification to close.
He/she should be willing to travel representing SpectraMedix and confidently marketing its products and platform. This executive should be able to meet deadlines, be collaborative amongst a team sales approach, and work well under pressure. This person should be able to sell at the highest level. The ideal candidate has fun while maintaining a “Get It Done” mindset.

Responsibilities
- Excellent communicator and can motivate, support, and lead sales professionals.
- Can negotiate large, complex sales opportunities at all levels of a healthcare organization.
- Create business strategy for penetrating new targets.
- Understand competitive market conditions and adjust sales strategy accordingly.
- Have full understanding of SpectraMedix solutions and ability to present independently and train sales organization.
- Research and understand prospective target’s needs, competitive landscape, and coach sales organization from initial lead to closing.
- Accurately forecast revenue monthly.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Travel to prospective customer sites and major Healthcare conferences in the US, representing and presenting the SpectraMedix brand.
- Prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with all SpectraMedix team members.
Position may work remotely with responsibility to regularly travel to headquarters for team meetings and training.
Qualifications
Requirements
- BS/BA in business, healthcare, computer science or equivalent.
- 10 to 15 years of healthcare software & analytics solutions sales experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in sales leadership building team and growing revenue.
- Verifiable track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas/targets.
- Expertise in business and IT strategies for health plans and large health systems.
- Familiarity with current information systems technology and healthcare industry trends.
- Ability to demonstrate consistent and effective closing techniques throughout the sales cycle.
- Proven history of solutions-selling capability with strong consultative skills and an ability to craft business solutions to complex business problems.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Experience with CRM tools and leveraging socially media.
