Software Engineer - SB/HOH Intern

Internship Overview

This position is specifically designed to allow U.S. Military SkillBridge/Hiring Our Heroes internship candidates to apply for a Software Engineering internship with Radix Metasystems.  Radix is not currently taking applications for college/university interns, but we hope to begin doing so in the future.

Our interns typically learn to become Software Developers & Engineers through training and mentorship by Radix Software Engineers.  Radix customers require innovative solutions that meet ever evolving mission needs. In this role, the selected intern will be part of a talented team of mission focused engineers tasked with developing innovated and complex solutions while supporting the next generation of world class satellite ground systems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop code in compliance with requirements and defined architecture
• Support Test Engineering for integration and test activities and events
• Participate in technical reviews and audits of software products
• Support development of complex system internal and external interfaces

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Currently active TS/SCI security clearance issued by a U.S. Government Entity
• U.S. Government Adjudicated Full-Scope or Counterintelligence polygraph
• Minimum of 5 years of Software Development and Engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
• Ability to design, develop, deploy and maintain complex software solutions
• Willingness to be mentored
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively work, and communicate, with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team
• Technical Qualifications: Python/Java/C++, Scripting and scripting languages, databases, Linux OS env using tools such as Git, Eclipse, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Desired experience: Intelligence Analysis, X-Midas, Digital Signal Processing
