Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electronic Security System Manager with Logistics experience to join our team! In this role you will get to maintain the installed Security System.
The Electronic Security System Manager’s overall responsibility will be to implement proper inventory and chain of custody requirements assisting the Qatar Emiri Air Force (QEAF) and maintenance/troubleshooting of installed Security System. The ideal candidate will have logistics experience within the US Military that has experience particularly in munitions and maintenance and troubleshooting skills of installed Security System.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- The candidate shall manage, escort and monitor critically controlled assets and is responsible for maintaining accountability and accurate inventory of serialized aircraft assets in secure storage facility at all times.
- The candidate shall access secure storage facility for all critical controlled assets issuing, escorting, removal and return operations.
- The candidate shall annotate all asset movements in and out of the secure storage facility in a logbook.
- Candidate will provide security oversight and inventory control of Items.
- Candidate must have great organizational skills and the ability to look ahead and anticipate the customer’s needs.
- Candidate must be team oriented and be able to adapt to local host nation customs and rules
- Candidate must be flexible and adapt to host nation requirements, while still maintaining contract
- Requirements
- Maintain company-required performance and maintenance records utilizing the government supplied inventory tracking and work order database for identified equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance functions as directed.
- Prepare reports of tests results and assessments of key electronic systems to ensure efficient operations.
- Identify operational or maintenance defects with various components and find suitable replacements.
- Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment, including controls, power supplies, gauges and sensors.
- Use a variety of tools and test equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and Volt/Current/Ohm multi-meter.
- Pull and terminate low voltage signal and network cables.
- Install, fusion-splice, and terminate fiber optic cable.
- Read and understand installation as-built design plans, electronic and construction schematics, and manufacturers’ literature for electrical and electronic components.
- Attends work regularly and observe approved work hours in accordance with company leave and attendance policies.
- Schedule - Availability for after-hour and weekend work is required.
- Prepared to shift to other sites when there is a need to surge efforts.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- College degree or equivalent experience required
- Candidate must have a minimum of 4 years US Military experience in aviation/security service managing the diversity and complexity of munitions/logistics/supply systems and/or related programs and at least two years in electronics maintenance
- Experience with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), intrusion detection systems (IDS, automated access control systems (ACS) and basic networking
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Should be Lenel/Milestone – Vindicator, LINX Predator Elite (LPE) or other similar electronic systems certified within the last year and can re-certify.
- Fall protection training, lift training, confined spaces training and fiber repair training is a plus
- Strong skills in MS Office, with extensive experience and knowledge of Excel and MS Project.
- Additional Certifications in IDS, ACS and CCTV systems is desired
- Licensure and/or Certification - Must possess a valid driver license and automobile insurance.
- Technical Skills/Knowledge - Knowledge of basic electricity and electronics.
