The Senior Manager Provisioning reports to the Vice President of Airports Experience and oversees domestic and international airline provisioning with a strong focus on logistics, supply chain execution, and asset management. This role leads the Inflight Provisioning team and is responsible for end-to-end planning, movement, storage, and provisioning of onboard supplies across the network.
The position manages daily provisioning logistics, demand forecasting, inventory control, vendor performance, and financial alignment, ensuring safe, compliant, and on-time delivery of products and equipment. Success requires strong cross-functional leadership, continuous improvement, and disciplined inventory and asset governance to support scalable operations, protect financial performance, and deliver a consistent onboard guest experience.

Here's what you'll do

  • Establish and maintain logistics standards, processes, and performance metrics for safe, efficient, and compliant catering and provisioning operations aligned with Guest Experience and cost objectives.
  • Oversee end-to-end provisioning supply chain performance, including demand planning, forecasting, ordering, transportation, storage, and aircraft delivery across all operating locations.
  • Manage inventory accuracy, asset tracking, cycle counts, shrink prevention, and equipment utilization to ensure cost control and operational readiness.
  • Lead operational audits, vendor performance reviews, and root-cause analysis while driving continuous improvement, automation, and scalability across the network.
  • Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls related to provisioning logistics, provisioning materials, galley equipment, and operational infrastructure.
  • Direct the design, procurement, and deployment of galley equipment and workspace requirements to optimize loading efficiency, safety, and turnaround performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, Airports, Technical Operations, Inflight, Customer Support) to improve data visibility, systems integration, and operational execution.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to ensure onboard service strategies are operationally feasible, logistically efficient, and support ancillary revenue programs.
  • Develop clear communication channels and engagement opportunities for Inflight Crewmembers related to provisioning logistics, availability, and onboard execution.
  • Build, coach, and develop the Catering/Provisioning Operations team to ensure strong daily execution, partner accountability, and long-term succession planning.
  • Develop long-term strategies to support network growth, new stations, international expansion, and sustainable logistics operations.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Here's what you'll need to be successful

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in Commercial, Airlines Provisioning, Ground Operations, Catering, or a related operational discipline.
  • 6+ years of leadership experience with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience with large-scale logistics, inventory management, and asset control across multi-location operations.
  • Strong operational acumen with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure.
  • Deep knowledge of provisioning operations, food handling, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to independently drive projects to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information to senior leadership.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%).
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to operational needs or emergencies on short notice.
  • Must pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or a related field
