Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Architecture/Engineering Office Operations Lead to be based in our Tampa, FL office. This opportunity will work with other Leadership members to help grow the Tampa office, develop and implement strategies, and manage programs and individual projects.
The Operations Lead will be responsible for the following items:
Job Responsibility:
- Support and collaborate with Tampa Office Manager, B+P RBL DOO, and Section and Office Operations Managers to develop strategic approaches and tactical plans, support implementation, and manage execution within the office.
- Serve as a key point person for the operational performance of the B+P business line within the Tampa office.
- Leverage and grow the office:
- Tracking business line performance for monthly and quarterly targets
- Resource planning providing hiring and management guidance and support
- Supporting work capture and business development
- Key role in defining office performance metrics and goals
- Supporting growth and quality of work within the practices
- Establishing and executing policy as needed for the office
- Supports PMs with projects providing mentorship, education, and guidance to ensure healthy delivery of projects
- Provides proposal reviews for proper scoping, pricing, and scheduling
- Provide project support reviewing contractual obligations, scope gaps, and performance requirements.
- Manages staffing issues and collaborates for resolution
- Manage programs and/or individual projects of varying complexity in support of the Tampa office
- This role requires being highly organized, attention to detail, and being able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS plus ten (10) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Valid Driver’s License required to regularly drive AECOM vehicles to project sites. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in architectural, engineering, consulting, or other associated professional industries
- Experience in all phases of project design and construction from proposal to closeout/operations
- Master of Business Administration
- Previous Department of Defense experience preferred
- An advanced degree is preferred
- PMP certification is preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of core consulting firm business fundamentals and organizational structures
- Demonstrated ability to engage across business lines and industry verticals to effectively develop and drive collaboration and grow relationships
- Demonstrated ability to grow teams and offices and meet performance goals
- Demonstrated experience in the development of scopes, fees, and proposals for consulting, design, and/or construction
