Position Description:
Be the face of an agency that makes a difference in the lives of children and families every day. Our Front Desk Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a warm, professional, and welcoming environment for clients, families, and staff alike. If you’re detail-oriented, compassionate, and excel at multitasking, we invite you to bring your administrative skills and positive energy to our dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clerical, reception, and operational support duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Present as the “face” of the agency and consistently maintain a professional and positive image.
- Interact with children, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring each experience reflects our mission and values.
- Handle confidential information with the highest degree of discretion and professionalism.
- Accurately maintain and organize clinical records.
- Perform efficient and accurate data entry with minimal error.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and directing inquiries appropriately
- Schedule and reschedule client appointments using established agency procedures.
- Assist with general office duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Prior experience (at least 6 months) in a reception, clerical, or administrative support role, ideally in a healthcare or child-serving setting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new systems.
- Commitment to confidentiality, compassion, and teamwork.
