Insurance Billing Specialist

Miracle-Ear, part of Amplifon Americas, a world leader in hearing care, has a strong demand for diverse, authentic, creative, and dynamic talent for an Insurance Billing Specialist role in our Miracle-Ear Flagship business unit. We are looking for an individual who is forward-thinking to help us strive towards everyday excellence while focusing on customer devotion and personal impact to ensure we are acting responsibly in everything we do.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Process and complete insurance claims in a professional and timely fashion.
• Submit accurate billing data to the appropriate insurance providers.
• Resolve instances of claim denials to ensure successful reimbursement.
• Track payments, verify benefits, and maintain the accuracy of billing information.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
• Assist in the establishment of insurance contracting for acquisitions.
• Deploy, maintain, and report on various programs related to insurance billing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for claims submission.
• Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3 years of prior insurance billing and coding experience required.
• Proficiency with Office 365, specifically Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills
• Incredible interpersonal communications skills with internal/external partners
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
• Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
