What’s Under the Hood

DriveTime Family of Brands includes in-house financing and servicing through Bridgecrest, which is one of the country’s leading financial servicing providers. Bridgecrest services roughly $17 billion in finance receivables for DriveTime and other third parties. We service auto loans across a wide credit spectrum with the intent of creating a strong path to vehicle ownership for our customers.

That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

Responsibilities of the Job (Or Better Known as, Your Next Destination)

In short, the Field Remarketing Manager is responsible for developing and leading a team of Field Remarketing Reps to achieve performance company objectives.  This includes collaborating with auction partners, Field Reps, and Remarketing management to ensure processes are executed to Bridgecrest standards to maximize vehicle retention while controlling cycle time. 

In long, the Manager:

  • Trains and develops the team in all areas of business, which will make them successful in current and future roles.  Holds frequent developmental discussions and constructs compelling developmental plans with Field Reps.
  • Reviews daily, weekly and monthly reports and performance data to develop strategic initiatives.
  • Identifies and recommends methods to improve processes and business operations.
  • Works directly with auction partners and vendors to ensure processes and results align with Bridgecrest SLAs.
  • Prepare and present monthly performance metrics and strategies to Senior Leadership team.
  • Exhibits strong verbal and written communication.

Requirements (a.k.a. What You Need to Get the Job Done)

  • Minimum 3 years Remarketing/Auction management experience in high volume locations
  • College degree or equivalent experience in Remarketing/Auction functions.
  • Willing to travel (up to 40%).
  • Strong work ethic, high level of integrity, and good follow-through skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively maintain relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Must be able to communicate in English to ensure effective performance of the position in a safety-sensitive/technical environment.
