Foth is currently seeking a team-focused and results-oriented Civil Engineering Internship/Co-op to join our Aviation Services team at Muhammed Ali International Airport and Bowman Field. This is a hands-on learning experience conducting construction observation for aviation-related projects, with the possibility of design related responsibiities. The Louisville Regional Airport Authority manages the renovation, upgrades, and expansion of the Muhammed Ali International and Bowman Field airfield facilities, utilities, structures, and service roads. You will help provide effective solutions that are cost-conscious, innovative, and practical, with results that last for years to come.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform construction observation for aviation-related projects at the Muhammed Ali International Airport and Bowman Field, with a team of engineers
- Assist with construction measurements and documentation, quantity reporting, plan and specification review, and contractor/client coordination
- Escort and observe contractors in the secure area of the airfield
- Engage in routine civil engineering support tasks (including design in Civil 3D, cost estimating, etc.) under the direction of a licensed engineer
- Available to work a flexible schedule when work requires it. This could include weekend work (40 hour work weeks with the possibility of overtime)
- Willing to live in the Louisville metro area during the term of the Internship/Co-op
Required Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a Civil /Construction Engineering program at an accredited institution or enrolled in an Aviation Operations program at an accredited institution
