The Senior Direct Sourcing Specialist for Cytiva is responsible for negotiating favourable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers, and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies for internal use. It will also drive ongoing supplier optimization and continuous improvement.

This position is part of the Strategic Sourcing Department located in Pensacola or Hauppauge and will be a Hybrid position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Lead sourcing efforts for Cytiva's products and services, ensuring they meet organizational requirements, including driving favourable Net Purchase Price Variance, Purchase Price Change, sustainability targets, Days Payable Outstanding, and Standard Terms improvement.
• Contribute to reducing supply chain risk through effective Business Continuity Risk Management Plans and Supplier Emergency Response Plans.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve carbon footprint and promote diversity and inclusion in sustainability efforts for the products supplied.
• Present site KPI results weekly, identifying gaps, and engage in problem-solving to ensure transparency and inclusive decision-making processes. Foster relationships and collaboration with suppliers.
• Support Commodity Managers as needed via implementing and collaborating on commodity strategy. Including consolidating suppliers and negotiating critical supply contracts by collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Who you are:

• 2+ years of experience directly in sourcing, project management, or supply chain.
• Experience working with a global team environment, using critical thinking to implement strategy into action and collaborates in cross functional teams.
• Demonstrated skills developing relationships with suppliers and negotiating pricing.
• Experience working with and actively listening to customer needs, fostering creative problem solving and balancing risk-taking to achieve goals and growth.
• Proven ability to solve problems, achieve results, and consider diverse ideas and perspectives while championing continuous improvement.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Presentation skills and collaboration with remote personnel.
• MCIPS or equivalent Professional Procurement qualification
