The Opportunity:
The Senior Infrastructure Architect will serve as an individual contributor with deep expertise in Email and Collaboration technologies. This role requires the ability to lead and execute highly complex or specialized projects, adapt established practices, and develop innovative solutions.
What You'll Work On:
- Responsible for implementing complex/critical IT architecture, configurations and maintenance of the organization's computing/information technology environment.
- Work with technical staff to integrate complex IT infrastructure and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Act as an enabler and address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency within the messaging environment.
- Utilize Microsoft Graph to integrate and manage various aspects of the messaging infrastructure.
- Understand and manage mail flow, with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
- Design, implement, manage, and monitor retention policies to ensure data is retained and disposed of in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior staff as needed.
Education and Experience You'll Bring:
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of IT experience with Fortune 500 companies; managing environments with 5,000+ nodes.
- Expertise in Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, and related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Graph and Exchange API for managing messaging systems.
- Proven experience with PowerShell scripting in an M365 environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Teams, and Proofpoint.
- Experience migrating email environments during M&A’s.
- Understanding of networking and security principles as they relate to messaging systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mergers & Acquisitions experience.
