We are seeking a highly skilled and relationship-driven Associate Principal, Utilization Management Integrations, to lead the intersection of technical strategy and client success across our utilization management programs. This hybrid role combines deep expertise in health plan operations and utilization management with strategic alignment leadership, enabling seamless integration of Availity’s intelligent solutions into payer environments. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to our strategic partners, driving innovation, alignment, and long-term value within health plans’ utilization management programs.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Integration Leadership
Lead cross-functional stakeholder groups to define integration strategies that align with health plan goals and Availity’s product roadmap.
Provide conceptual architectural and high-level technical guidance to assess client domains and recommend scalable, interoperable solutions.
Develop high-level conceptual architecture that reflects current and future states across people, processes, technology, and data.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solution alignment with client short-, mid-, and long-term objectives.
Client Engagement & Account Strategy
Serve as the primary liaison for high-value payer accounts, managing escalations, driving retention and UM product expansion efforts, and supporting product post implementations.
Build and maintain UM strategies for accounts, identify growth opportunities, and align client needs with Availity’s offerings.
Facilitate regular communications with clients and Availity Growth Teams through meetings, and executive briefings.
Represent the voice of the customer internally and advocate for their UM needs in internal discussions.
Program Oversight & Performance Monitoring
Define KPIs and success metrics to measure integration impact and program performance.
Provide executive-level communications on program status, risks, and outcomes.
Track and report on account performance, including volume trends, retention metrics, and strategic goal progress.
Industry Insight & Thought Leadership
Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, payer needs, and competitive activity.
Leverage insights to inform account strategies and influence product direction.
Attend client meetings, industry conferences, and internal planning sessions to strengthen relationships and support business development.
Qualifications
5+ years in utilization management, care management, or healthcare operations within a health plan, provider organization or healthcare technology organization. This is required to be considered for the role.
4+ years of customer management experience in healthcare, health plan, provider relations, or technology.<
