The Pratt & Whitney Engineering organization is focused on delivering customer requirements, advancing market-differentiating technologies, leading continuous improvement and developing technical leadership. Pratt and Whitney's Compression Systems Engineering (CSE), designers and analysts of High Pressure Compressors, is currently seeking a highly-motivated Project Engineer to join its team in support of the F135 High Pressure Compressor (HPC) Compressions Systems Project Group.
What You Will Do
- Support IPT / supplier activities to meet technical milestones and hardware delivery requirements
- Assist in planning and management of task budget and schedule in accordance with program negotiated deliverables
- Prepare and present task status and technical content to the IPT Lead, CIPT and Cold Section Engineering management
- Support field investigation teams to determine root cause and corrective action for any field incidents reported by USAF customer
What You Will Learn
- This position is a part of our Engineering Development Program (EDP). EDP participants will complete three to four rotations to build technical breadth and leadership abilities before graduating from the program.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
Qualifications We Prefer
- Internship experience with Pratt & Whitney, RTX, or within the aerospace industry
- Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas
- Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience
- Experience organizing and executing several components of complex tasks
- Experience with MS suite of products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Smartsheet

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
