Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson’s Enterprise Networking and Security business. Our growing product portfolio spans across wide area networks, local area networks and enterprise security. We are the #1 global market leader in Wireless-WAN based enterprise connectivity solutions and are growing fast in enterprise Private 5G networks and Secure Access Services Edge (SASE) solutions.

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

We are seeking a dynamic, commercially minded, and strategic finance leader to serve as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions. The CFO is responsible for driving value creation through holistic financial insights, business and financial performance, as well as compliance and risk mitigation, in line with Enterprise Wireless Solutions and Ericsson Group Strategy. In this exciting role you will lead an organization of financial professionals, driving them and the business towards high-performance outcomes.  

The CFO is a member of the Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions Executive Leadership team reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise Wireless Solutions. It can be based in Plano, Santa Clara or Boise. 

What You Will Do: 

  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and insightful financial analyses and forecasts, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities relating to the business unit strategy.  

  • Drive the formulation and execution of business and financial plans and the management of Enterprise Wireless Solutions for maximum financial performance and value creation. 

  • Oversee financial performance in Enterprise Wireless Solutions (P&L, B/S and Cash Flow), ensuring strong controls are in place and safeguarded.  

  • Assemble and lead a top-tier, accounting & strategic finance team. Your leadership will cultivate an inclusive high-performance culture and set new financial planning and analysis standards.  

  • Manage financial and other governance, including world-class project control and unit governance. 

  • Drive working capital and cost efficiencies for competitiveness. 

  • Proactively identify and mitigate financial risk. 

  • Drive a zero-tolerance ethics and compliance agenda and support global compliance programs. 

The Skills You Bring: 

 Minimum experience and education requirements: 

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role preferably within a high-growth technology company. 

  • Experience in scaling businesses and expanding into new markets or verticals. 

  • Strong understanding of financial control, planning, analysis, and performance management. 

Commercial & customer acumen: 

  • Capacity to drive results by turning data analytics and insights into actionable business strategies. 

  • Acts to beat profitability or revenue goals, seizing opportunities to push the envelope and take on new commercial options.  

  • Accepts & adapt to challenges with curiosity and optimism, consider culture, and remain flexible while challenging the status quo. 

Functional & technical acumen: 

  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills; solutions-oriented; able to balance short and long-term priorities. 

  • Previous exposure to IFRS & US GAAP reporting is advantageous but not essential. 

Leadership acumen

  • Proven ability to deliver results, drive execution, and change while navigating complexity and ambiguity. 

  • Engages, motivates and uplevels employees. This person can attract and develop top tier talent and is known for building high performing and inclusive teams. 

  • Role model of high integrity with a strong focus on ethics and compliance and the ability to foster a speak-up culture. 

  • Strong executive presence and ability to build relationships at all levels.
