JOB SUMMARY:
The Textron Aviation Employees Club is a non-profit, employee-based membership organization that provides its members, their families and retirees with facilities and activities for health, fitness, and fun. The club strives to encourage and promote family-oriented activities to our membership.
Under the guidance of the Sr Manager TAEC, the Supervisor will oversee the day today operation of the Activity Center. Oversee all facility employees, hiring and managing schedules, budgeting and estimating costs, scheduling and overseeing facility leasing and events, assist in all facility and grounds maintenance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Supervise the daily operations of the East Activity Center.
· Responsible for hiring new employees, creating and managing schedules, and supervising all full and part-time staff.
· Maintain the overall cleanliness and maintenance of facility and grounds.
· Schedule and oversee all facility leases and special events.
· Budget costs/estimates for employees, raises, and work performed by outside venders.
· Assist in all Employees Club events and all company activities.
· Coordinate and help plan all sports programs.
· Pick-up surplus leather, maintain inventory and coordinate sales.
· Distribute newsletters and update bulletin boards at Pawnee facility.
· Deliver items to Employee Club stores as needed.
· Assist as needed with other areas of the Employees Club as needed.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Management, Facilities Management, or related field, preferred.
· Minimum 7 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years with the following experience:
o Specialized experience in supervising directly related to special events, facility operations, leasing and maintenance of building and grounds for sports and recreation, year-round recurring and nonrecurring activities within a similar business model.
o Leadership overseeing, supervising staff members, and creating a positive work environment.
