Job Summary
The Operations Manager is primarily responsible for managing the staff and day-to-day operations for their specific site across professional disciplines such as front desk, food service, and maintenance/custodial positions and collaborating with other members of the leadership team.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Manage day to day site operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and human capital
management.
• Maintain the condition and upkeep of Axiom Care facilities.
• Identify, analyze and resolve a wide range of technical, process, and operations issues providing quick and decisive solutions.
• Provide expert knowledge of workforce forecasting and planning to ensure necessary staffing levels to support demand.
• Responsible for hiring, training, orienting, supervision and professional development of staff.
• Develop and instill strong, positive program culture among staff, clients, and families.
• Partner with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans, operational goals and performance metrics that drive productivity.
• Implement compliance and quality initiatives, facilitate program evaluation, and provide progress reports to leadership team.
• Investigates and resolves complaints.
• Maximize employee satisfaction, development, and performance through goal setting, performance management practices, and employee culture-building initiatives.
• Responds to emergency and/or crisis situations gracefully; performs interventions and actions as appropriate to optimize client and staff safety.
• Manage the front desk receptionist, food service, and maintenance/custodial staff, systems and processes, while looking for opportunities of improvement.
• Coordinate existing facility improvements and renovations
• Recommend maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications .
• Delegate and prioritize maintenance tasks to the maintenance team.
• Evaluate, negotiate and coordinate with contracted services providers such as landscapers, plumbers, electricians, roofers, HVAC technicians, general contractors, etc.
• Develop schedules for appropriate routine maintenance and ensure schedules are adhered to.
• Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, facility common areas, parking lots, outdoor recreational spaces.
• Perform and document regular inspections of the property.
• Participates in the development and monitoring of program budget.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates policies, goals, and objectives.
• Interacts with a wide range of people and be personable and trustworthy.
• Promotes inclusion through Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) Standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
Supervisory Responsibilities
• Accomplishes human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning,
monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures
• As Operations Manager for a 24/7 facility, this role requires availability for on-call duties
outside regular hours to support onsite staff.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients and families in both a written and oral
format.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Negative TB test results within the past 12 months.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card upon hire.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computer navigation.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business correspondence, analyze policies and procedures technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
• Strong time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in working with diverse populations and socioeconomic backgrounds, an understanding of Native America Reservation dynamic preferred.
• Experience in working with Native American population preferred.
• Working knowledge of substance use treatment. Minimal supervision regarding use of time.
