Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of deli items, ensuring quality and freshness.
• Slice, package, and serve deli products according to customer requests.
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service, addressing inquiries and special orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper sanitation of equipment.
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and freshness of products.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve department goals.
• Comply with food safety standards and health regulations while handling food.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is a plus.
• Understanding of food safety practices and procedures.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
