Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Box Line Associate. The hours for this position are Friday-Sunday 5am-5pm
The hourly rate for this position is 16.00/hr per hour.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Position Overview:
In the Box Line Associate role, you will …
In this function you will:
• Complete assigned tasks to support the assembly of finished products, following established procedures and instructions.
• Maintain high quality standards by performing required checks and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Follow work instructions from management and internal customers, using provided documentation and tools.
• Comply with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with 5S standards.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals and customer requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and assist with special projects as needed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Operate necessary tools and equipment (e.g., forklifts, hand trucks, banding machines) safely and competently.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Sumter facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, box line, and/or paint line experience.
• Must be able to operate fork trucks, hand trucks, hand carts, hand tools, banding machine, scales, safety equipment, etc.
• Some experience in assembly operation, sheet metal fabrication or assembly requiring drawings or diagrams is preferred.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach at or above shoulder level; grip; and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to walk; stoop; lift; carry; push; pull; and grip. The employee is frequently required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to or greater than 50 pounds. The vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to listen and to talk.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to noise and frequently exposed to dust.
