Job Title: Business System Analyst
Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite- 5 Days a week)
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Business System Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will have significant experience in documenting current-state processes and defining data-driven future states to support strategic decision-making. This role involves conducting external research and data analysis to inform future-state design, partnering closely with stakeholders during Agile/PI planning, and translating business needs by breaking down epics into clear, actionable user stories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Define data-driven future states to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct external research and data analysis to inform future-state design.
- Collaborate with stakeholders during Agile/PI planning.
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories and requirements.
- Utilize analytics and reporting to measure outcomes and guide prioritization.
- Support continuous improvement across teams using insights and KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with expertise in process documentation and strategic planning.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and PI Planning.
- Ability to decompose complex business needs into actionable user stories.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as JIRA, Snowflake, and Tableau is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in using insights and KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Power BI for data visualization.
- Knowledge of Databricks and Hadoop for big data analysis.
- Visio for process mapping.
- Any programming language for advanced data tasks.
- Experience with testing tools like Selenium.
- Understanding of RPA Framework for task automation.
The base salary range for this position is $ 72,000 to $85,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
