Engineering Manager, Mobile

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to direct our mobile engineering team and ensure their success.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team building fullstack applications with language models
• Uphold ethical standards and prevent misuse
• Architect client-side and server-side components  
• Plan and prioritize features and user stories  
• Hire and mentor software engineers
• Ensure quality through testing and code reviewsIntegrate with third-party services and data sources
• Drive roadmaps, business metrics and OKRs  
• Collaborate with product and research teamsLead a team of top-performing engineers in an ambiguous and evolving environment  

You may be a good fit if you:

• 5+ years engineering management experience
• Degree in CS or related technical field
• Experience with native iOS/Android development
• Passion for developing AI responsibly and safely
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Experience recruiting, scaling, and retaining mobile engineering talent
• Passionate about building a culture of engineering excellence

Strong candidates may also:

• Experience building delightful mobile experiences for productivity tools
• Experience collaborating with product and design teams in a startup
• Experience with Swift/Kotlin/Java/Objective-C

Salary Range:

• $320-405K

LogisticsLocation-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.

Equity - On top of this position's salary (listed above), equity will be a major component of the total compensation. We aim to offer higher-than-average equity compensation for a company of our size, and communicate equity amounts at the time of offer issuance.
