What You Will Do:
The Principal Fraud Analytics Technical Lead will lead day-to-day execution of fraud analytics workstreams, coordinate delivery of analytical products, and provide technical guidance supporting fraud monitoring, investigations, reporting, and platform operations. This position will use broad judgment to select methods and techniques, analyze complex situations and data, prepare briefings and recommendations, and provide task-level technical guidance to improve fraud detection, analytics workflows, and operational outcomes.
Lead execution of assigned fraud analytics workstreams, continuous enhancements, application onboarding activities, platform support efforts, and stakeholder coordination activities.
Analyze complex situations and data using professional concepts, methodologies, and broad judgment to identify fraudulent activity, anomalous behavior, emerging risks, and improvement opportunities.
Identify alternative applications for existing tools, techniques, technologies, data models, and analytics workflows to improve results and influence operational outcomes.
Provide day-to-day technical leadership and work coordination to support timely completion of analytics, reporting, data integration, and investigative activities.
Implement, test, validate, and maintain fraud indicators, detection logic, analytical algorithms, predictive models, and statistical analysis approaches.
Support data ingestion, schema alignment, data quality review, extract, transform, load activities, and analytics workflow improvements.
Collaborate with technical teams, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, evaluate options, and support delivery of fraud analytics capabilities.
Prepare and present technical briefings, reports, executive summaries, dashboards, and recommendations based on analytical findings and operational needs.
Support investigative and forensic analysis of transactional, behavioral, and system activity data to identify trends, root causes, and potential attack vectors.
Track workstream progress, coordinate task assignments, and support delivery of recurring reports, analytical findings, and stakeholder briefings.
Work onsite at the client location in Lanham, Maryland five (5) days per week and collaborate closely with government personnel and contractor team members.
What You Will Need:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Information Science, or a STEM related field.
SEVEN (7) or more years of professional experience supporting fraud analytics, cybersecurity analytics, data science, data engineering, predictive analytics, incident response, investigations, platform advisory, or related technical delivery.
