Lead Communications Analyst

TechOp Solutions International, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business in the Defense & Space industry, seeks a Lead Communications Analyst to join their team. As a Key Management Personnel-driven organization with decades of real-world operational and technology experience, TechOp is dedicated to providing its customers with the highest level of service and expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and defining communication requirements and will be part of a team working on a critical project.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of communications professionals and coordinate with other departments to ensure successful project completion.
• Conducts research and ensures the use of proper technical terminology.
• Translates technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel.
• Selects or creates the visual design, images, graphics, briefings, and animation, including typography, visual concepts, Internet designs, interactive platforms, and documentation.
• Develop and implement communication strategies, plans, and systems meeting project and organizational requirements.
• Analyze communication requirements and decide which tools and platforms to use.
• Oversee the development and design of communication-related products.
• Implement communication systems that meet the project's security needs.
• Provide clear and concise communications to project management and stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, including forecasting and estimating.

Requirements

• 15 + years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience with a Master's degree as a communications analyst
• Experience in managing a team of communications professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of various communication technologies, systems, and protocols.
• Ability to analyze and develop communication processes and systems.
• Strong project management and budgeting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess or ability to possess appropriate security clearance
