The Position

Senior Lab Technician - Oligonucleotide Purification

We advance science so that we all have more time with the people we love.

A challenging and engaging Sr. Laboratory Technician position is available in the Oligonucleotide Manufacturing Group for motivated individuals with a scientific/technical background. You will perform Oligonucleotide purification using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), analytical testing and various other manufacturing procedures.

This position is On Site, based in Branchburg, NJ, Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 2:30pm, approximately.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing oligonucleotide purification and characterization by following detailed instructions outlined in production batch records and SOPs. The candidate will need to become proficient with complex and technical equipment and processes.

  • The candidate will be expected to organize work effectively to ensure efficient utilization of time and materials and to complete all procedures in a cGMP compliant manner. 

  • The candidate will also be expected to respond quickly and effectively to multiple and changing priorities, and to schedule work effectively to ensure that current and future needs are met. 

  • The candidate will be required to accurately and legibly record methods, materials, and results in batch records, according to established formats, and to keep supervisor informed on status of all projects and of significant findings and results in critical areas.

  • The candidate will often participate in, or lead, various Group projects, activities and initiatives as part of their career and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred (science degree required, chemistry-related preferred) 

  • 0-4 years of industry experience.

  • Basic proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of New Jersey is 48 000,00 - 89 200,00 USD Annual USD Annual.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
