Your Team

As a Senior Associate, Scrum Master in the Chief Technology Organization, you will join a team of change agents who are responsible for coaching, teaching and guiding individuals, bringing to bear agile principles, practices and frameworks to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services and experiences to delight our customers! You will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers and delivery professionals to improve End User Experience.  You will bring excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills, strong business insight, an inclusive leadership attitude and a continuous learning focus to all that you do.  

Here is what you can expect on a typical day

  • Collaborate with product owners in understanding needs and defining feature stories, tech leads in defining technical design and other team members to understand the system end-to-end and deliver robust solutions that bring about business impact 

  • Bring an understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, begin to identify opportunities to provide feedback to the team, and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-day  

  • Work on problems of diverse scope in which analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors

  • Ensures the team(s) lives Agile values and principles and follow the processes and practices that they agreed-upon to deliver the committed solutions

  • Responsible for promoting and supporting Agile principles by helping everyone understand applied theories, practices, rules, and value

  • True servant leader who serves the team(s) and larger organization

  • Supports those outside the aligned team(s) to understand which of their interactions with the team(s) are effective and which aren’t; helps everyone change these interactions to improve the value built by the Agile team

  • Supports all aspects of risk management and impediment resolution

  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability

The Skills & Expertise You Bring  

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or comparable Agile delivery leadership role

  • Leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization  

  • Experience with agile development methodologies

  • Knowledge of business concepts, tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business

  • Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges

  • Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills

Experience with several of the following:

  • Familiarity and expertise with Agile principles and frameworks, including story writing and estimation, facilitation, and identification and implementation of continuous improvement (CI)

  • Experience working and proficiency in performing the role of Scrum Master, including on teams charged with highly complex outcomes 

  • Expertise in facilitation and tracking of Objectives & Key Results (OKRs), prioritization, backlog refinement, and specialty workshops.

  • Experience with Jira, Jira Align

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Scrum Master certification

  • Experience in serving as a Scrum Master on multiple teams
