THE JOB:
It is the primary responsibility of the Count Team Supervisor to oversee collections of cash, tokens, coins, chips, and tickets from the floor and transport these to the Count Room. It also includes overseeing the drop process for accuracy in count and reporting of cash, coins, and tickets.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Ensures staff is adequately trained to perform all required count team responsibilities including: counting, sorting, strapping, racking, transporting, and recording of all funds.

• Operates and/or observes the operations of computers and machines used in the processing of all monies, and machines  used in the drop process.

• Operates a tow cart for pushing or pulling loaded carts.

• Operates a ten-key calculator and a computer keyboard with a high regard for accuracy.

• Performs the functions of counting, sorting, strapping, racking, transporting, and recording of all funds.

• Places count team supply orders.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Is able to provide excellent service to guests and ensure their complete satisfaction

• Is able to communicate information clearly and politely to coworkers, supervisors, and guests when speaking and writing.

• Has high volume cash handling experience (nice to have)

• Has supervisor experience (nice to have)

• Is comfortable motivating and working with a team
