Job Description: Provide program management support and recommendations for Army FMS systems. Support shall include the integration of data based on the customer requirements; USASAC program policies and procedures; and the programmatic and logistics data obtained from the FMS Managers.

**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**

Responsibilities:

  • Perform research and analysis of defense articles, training and services requested by the FMS customer and report the impacts of Operations and Support (O&S), sustainability, availability, and costs of ownership of the system.
  • Provide analysis of non-U.S. GFE and make recommendations on the impact of such equipment on the interoperability, supportability and operations of defense articles to be purchased or operated by foreign nations. Analysis shall include:
    • Logistical support implications, including training, publications, maintenance, transportation and repair parts availability.
    • Technical evaluation of operational impacts of GFE item removal, substitution with non-U.S. GFE, or incorporation into U.S., FMS, and licensed production hardware.
    • Studies and analyses of interoperability issues of non-U.S. GFE with major end items
  • Provide analyses of FMS defense articles, training and services to meet international security assistance requirements. This analysis will be from the perspective of providing a Total Package Approach (TPA) to USASAC's FMS Partners, as well as, how to reduce risk while meeting organizational performance standards.

Requirements

  • A minimum of six years of logistical experience is required. Type of experience necessary includes six years of task related technical experience, and two years of supervisory experience. Experience in either logistic support planning, material fielding, or sustainment support for systems, major end items, supply, or maintenance organization required.
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in such disciplines as Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, International Relations, Strategic Studies, Foreign Policy, International Studies, Political Science, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other related technical, or professional disciplines.
  • Active Secret Clearance required.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge/experience w/ US Army Security Assistance enterprise with specific experience in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) activities.
  • Former US Army Logistician or Army Foreign Area Officer.
