The Department of Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences at American University invites applications for a number of adjunct faculty positions for upcoming Academic Years. Rank will depend on an applicant’s highest degree earned in Physics or a related field. The applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Candidates Without a Terminal Degree In Course Subject Area

1-2 Credit Course: $2,865

3-4 Credit Course: $4,725

5-6 Credit Course: $4,938

Candidates With a Terminal Degree In Course Subject Area

1-2 Credit Course: $3,414

3-4 Credit Course: $5,400

5-6 Credit Course: $5,548
