Feel valued for your contribution.</p><p>Learn more about our team and culture on <a href="https://ecovadis.com/careers/">EcoVadis careers page</a></p><p>If you have questions about the company or open roles you can <a href="https://ecovadis.career-inspiration.com/app/home">Chat with an insider</a></p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Our Technology and Platform Services department designs and secures the platform that underpins all of our offerings, achieving scalability and continuous improvement through innovation and collaboration.</p><ul><li><p>Work closely with the functional team to define testing scope, automate tests, organize and review the automation effort of other feature team members.</p></li><li>Work closely with the Developers to understand the features technically;</li><li>Create test design and test cases for developed User Stories and bugfixes;</li><li>Create the automation scripts and review the scripts created by Developers;</li><li>Maintain and improve the Automated script library for the team;</li><li>Collaborate in the QA process maintenance and improvements;</li><li>Identify improvements areas and propose solutions (process/technical);</li><li>Participate in technical decisions;</li><li>Perform manual check of the developers' work when needed;</li><li>Assist in mentoring and provide assistance to other Feature Team members to understand the Automation Framework;</li><li>Spread the Quality mindset across the Feature Team;</li><li>Can work unsupervised.</li></ul><p> </p><ul></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>(Preferred) degree or Master in Engineering in computer science field or another relevant degree;</li><li>(Preferred) at least 5+ years of experience in QA out of which 1+ in automated testing;</li><li>Practical knowledge of REST services, C#, Selenium, Jenkins, GIT, Postman;</li><li>Hands-on experience with Component Integration Test, Web Application Testing and Regression Testing;</li><li>Knowledge of SQL;</li><li>Familiarity with Scrum;</li><li>(As a plus) familiarity with Zalenium.</li></ul><p>Role is 70-80% Automation with 20-30% manual effort (the more components are automated the less manual footprint will become)</p><p><strong>Perfect candidate:</strong> We're looking for a person that already has some automation experience, but also is a strong team player. The person would become an owner of automation inside of the team, meaning he/she would be able to organize oneself as well as Developers in a way that encourages quality mindset across the entire team - to allow Developers to contribute into the Automated script suites. Within a regular sprint this person should:</p><ul><li>Participate in creating the test strategy as well as coverage strategy with unit/integration/e2e;</li><li>Write a test plan that would need to be automated and agree with Developers who should automate what;</li><li>Review Developer contributions;</li><li>Maintain existing testbase and scriptbase (the latter by oneself or with developer help);</li><li>If needed - check the small increments manually within the sprint;</li><li>If needed - check the bugfixes and close the resolved issues;</li><li>At code-freeze - check the overall integration of the User Stories and prepare the content to be deployed to Production by performing manual or automated tests;</li><li>Perform exploratory testing if needed to identify extra issues that may arise.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>Location: Warsaw/Remote from Poland <br/> Start date: ASAP <br/> Contract: B2B or CoE </p><p>Everyone at EcoVadis contributes to a culture of trust, respect and empowerment.
