About the role

As VP, Resilience Services in Chubb’s Climate+ practice, you will be a key player in Chubb’s mission to expand its existing service capabilities and expertise to become the leading global provider of P&C insurance services for customers looking to build resilience and transition to a low carbon economy. You will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering climate risk, resilience, and recovery services to our commercial P&C insurance clients, working closely with leadership and colleagues in other divisions to ensure products and services are executed in-line with our overarching vision. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop dedicated resilience services for Chubb’s commercial P&C market, ensuring alignment with the overarching resilience strategy and the company’s overall business objectives. 
  • Define and establish processes & best practices to successfully deliver and scale services, in the commercial P&C resilience market space.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to provide tailored solutions and build a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Actively lead customer conversations and oversee resilience engagements, serving as trusted advisor on climate risk & resilience initiatives for the commercial P&C market.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Develop internal and external marketing materials.
  • Assist leadership in recruiting, training, and mentoring team resources to grow the practice.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sustainability and / or infrastructure advisory consulting in a professional services firm.
  • Beneficial: Experience working in the insurance industry with a sustainability lens.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field (e.g., sustainability, environmental science, economics, finance, engineering).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a complex, dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen, and strategic thinking with analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proven track record of business development and client relationship management
  • Demonstrated experience working with and influencing diverse stakeholders and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, communication, meeting facilitation skills. 
  • Deep understanding of climate-related risks and opportunities for the financial / insurance sector.
  • Willing and able to travel - individual should be comfortable with travel as needed.
  • The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for climate risk & resilience with a proven ability to drive innovation and deliver results.

The pay range for the role is $128,500 to $215,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.  Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
