The Position
The Project Manager is driven by a customer-centric mindset to meet business goals by leading the delivery of IT Marketing projects and solutions. This role blends soft and hard skills in an effort to manage and deliver quality products that align with business goals. It is a role that requires you to balance input, concerns, and feedback from multiple departments, key stakeholders, and customers. Contribute to maintaining IT Marketing Systems portfolio roadmap status. Manage Project budgets as applicable. Identify and manage key dependencies across other IT Marketing initiatives in flight. Ensure project delivery according to established agreements between all teams. Ensure accurate reporting of in-flight activities, including risks and escalations.
Relationships
Reports to a Senior Program Manager in the NNI IT Organization. Must maintain positive and frequent communications with line of business owners and managers within the scope of projects being delivered.
Essential Functions
- Own the delivery of assigned IT Marketing systems projects/features end-to-end, from initiation to deployment
- Lead the project team fostering close collaboration across the functions involved (IT, Marketing Operations, external agencies, etc.)
- Manage project resources and budget to support a timely and exceptional delivery
- Guide project scoping initiatives and drive stakeholder updates (e.g. project status reporting)
- Drive project-related communication and change management activities
Physical Requirements
Approximately 5% overnight travel.
Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe, Salesforce, or similar technologies preferred
- Experience Level: Minimum 4 years experience within IT or Marketing systems. Must have experiencing leading large initiatives required
- Experience of both waterfall project management and 1+ year experience in Agile methodologies/scrum master role is preferred
- Education Level: Bachelors degree in business, information systems, computer science, or related field preferred. May substitute relevant professional experience
- Ensure key risks and dependencies are identified and mitigated/escalated to program management/PMO
- Ensure project planning is clearly documented and ongoing status is concisely communicated
- Ability to influence through passionate and vision-setting communication
- Make bold decisions and take risks
- Avoid unnecessary complexity and embrace collaborative outcomes
