BASIC FUNCTION
To assist with general administrative operations, and to perform a wide variety of tasks to support the compliance and performance of the Vermont Small Business Development Center (VtSBDC).
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stay current on features of the Center IC and Center EX client management system in order to maintain client records and help VtSBDC advising staff learn and use the system. Leadership will provide direction on system changes that come from monthly user meetings.
- Create dashboard templates in Center EX for business advisors to assist them in monitoring their regional/individual performance.
- Create reports and boards in Center EX at the request of leadership to aid in tracking the organization’s performance.
- Support advising staff with data entry into the client management system, as well as, timely and accurate entry of consultant session notes.
- Prepare, maintain and organize various digital forms, records, reports, schedules, and other documents.
- Support the VtSBDC through the use of DocuSign to ensure all documents that require digital signature are timely and complete. This includes client, consultant and employee documents, as well as invoice processing.
- Update training protocol documents, training records, and associated backup documentation at the request and timing of leadership.
- Assist in preparing updates to the VtSBDC policy manual and participate in onboarding new employees to help train them on policies and procedures.
- Enter invoices and travel expense reimbursement vouchers into the online payment system.
- Assist leadership in preparing for meetings by reserving space, arranging for food and creating materials. Coordinate with food service staff/college staff as needed.
- Confer regularly with immediate supervisor and the Lead Center team as needed to plan and coordinate activities, solve problems, and execute project work plans.

The budgeted salary range for this position is: $26,000
