About the role

Responsible for managing design and development of project timelines, team capacity and coordinating subject matter expert collaboration across leadership development projects and programs. Partner closely with divisions, lines of business, and subject matter experts to ensure programs are developed and executed in a manner that will support and accelerate the associate experience.   • Develop & deliver high impact training that accelerates the company's business priorities and enables the associate and customer experience
  • Partner closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts on the successful design and coordination of identified leadership deliverables and programs
  • Determine the ROI and measurements of success for leadership development programs; evaluate the effectiveness of programs, both remotely and through site visits
  • Partner and orchestrate needs analysis to determine scope and desired outcomes
  • Develop and manage a project plan for training development & deployment for training solutions and major training curriculum
  • Curate and design supplemental material in partnership with third party learning vendors to enhance and develop personal and professional skills
  • Partner cross functionally to validate execution of identified training, development and evaluation of site/store, division and Store Support Center leaders
  • Align and coach Kroger Store Support Center leaders on ensuring training program topics are presented in an effective and engaging manner
  • Partner with instructional designers and graphic designers to select effective development strategies to deliver the identified content
  • Partner with Head of Talent Management & Development and Senior Leader of Talent Strategy and Operations to determine annual training budget associated with identified leadership programs
  • Determine the ROI and measurements of success for training programs; evaluate the effectiveness of training, both remotely and through site visit
  • Travel to divisions up to 20% for project planning, roll-out activities, and field visits

Minimum

  • 5+ years of experience in leadership development, talent, or learning program management
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of leadership development, adult learning, and instructional design principles
  • Experience reviewing and refining learning content for consistency and strategic alignment
  • Excellent communication and influence skills across senior and cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and learning/project management tools
  • Self-driven, organized, and adaptable with a focus on excellence and continuous improvement

Desired 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational leadership, communications, or business
