Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Senior Fulfillment Manager to join our Fabrication South Carolina team in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

The manager will be a Boeing leader to our suppliers, Engineering, Quality and many other stakeholders, domestically and internationally. In addition, this individual will regularly contribute to the development of new job practices, techniques, and standards; ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives and will perform work with minimal direction and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
• Manages employees and first level managers from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.
• Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
• Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Provides oversight regarding high-dollar negotiations, processes and related tools.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Material Management and/or Logistics processes
• 3+ years of experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvement
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
• 3+ years of experience preparing and presenting to executives, senior leadership, and external customers
• 3+ years of experience establishing relationships and strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors
• 3+ years of exhibiting strong interpersonal skills with collaboration across team functions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
• 3+ years of experience with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• 3+ years of experience with program oversight & metrics reporting
