DISPENSARY GENERAL MANAGER

The Dispensary General Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations at an individual retail store including staffing, training, scheduling, visual merchandising, cash management, inventory management, and compliance adherence.  This position requires competence in a fast-paced environment, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively interact with patients and other members of the Team to ensure a positive culture and the best possible patient experience for our clientele. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and applicable laws.

The Company operates more than two dozen retail locations across the country under the retail brand, BEYOND / HELLO™ as well as under the recently acquired brand, Nature’s Remedy and NuLeaf. Each day, Jushi team members continue to grow, cultivate, process and manufacture a comprehensive suite of cannabis brands under the names: The Bank, The Lab, Tasteology, Nira + Medicinals and Sèche, which are addressing a wide variety of consumer and patient needs across multiple states.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In exercising their independent judgement and discretion, the employee is responsible for performing the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  • Lead store employees through the execution of company business plans/objectives to drive sales, be profitable and provide a supervisor customer and employee experience.
  • Manage store while meeting retail budgeted sales, labor, expenses and overall P&L monthly results to ensure operating EBITDA and income are achieved.
  • Attend the opening and closing the store and maintaining proper accountability for cash handling, inventory audits, End of Month inventory reconciliation and thoughtful .scheduling to drive revenue while controlling overhead costs.
  • Jushi’sMentor, motivate, elevate and inspire the team through training and performance reviews to ensure the company’s culture and expectations are met and exceeded while maintain the company’s mission and culture of positivity.
  • Train store staff by reviewing, and implementing training materials; delivering training sessions; understanding the staff needs of the store and build depth on the bench to ensure all Company initiatives can be expedited with ease.
  • Interview, hire, train, reward and discipline employees; appraise employees performance; resolve complaints.
  • Follow established policies and procedures and execute all company programs for customer service, staff management, patient and visitor management, inventory management, cash handling, state compliance, and safety and security guidelines.
  • Identify and develop process improvements to assist with company growth.
  • Develop strong vendor relationships and monitor, manage, and maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Guide patients and employees with cannabis recommendations including product selection, affects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration.
  • Effectively and diplomatically handle employee or customer concerns and complaints while interfacing with the State Director, Marketing Team, and Inventory Team.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of cannabis; its various forms, its chemical composition, effects, dosing, titrations, methods of consumption, and quality metrics.
  • Manage the adherence to all State/Municipality regulatory and compliance legislation and policies  .
  • Receive deliveries, build purchase orders, and maintain accurate records.
  • Complete daily and weekly tasks/duties as assigned by your supervisor.
