We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Production Supervisor at our Tonawanda, NY location. This is an Onsite full-time salaried (exempt) position that will report directly to the Director of Manufacturing Operations. This position plays a crucial role in supporting The Director in efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. What you’ll do:
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate production schedules and manage workflow to optimize productivity.
- Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Evaluate production output and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance, to align production goals.
- Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and records.
- Train and develop staff to enhance skill levels and promote career growth.
- Address and resolve production issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Hold production staff to CPEG quality standards.
Requirements
What you’re required to have:
- Associate’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, operations management, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control techniques.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data to drive process improvements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends, if necessary.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, operations management, related field, or equivalent work experience.
