We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Production Supervisor at our Tonawanda, NY location. This is an Onsite full-time salaried (exempt) position that will report directly to the Director of Manufacturing Operations. This position plays a crucial role in supporting The Director in efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. What you’ll do:

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate production schedules and manage workflow to optimize productivity.
• Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Evaluate production output and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance, to align production goals.
• Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and records.
• Train and develop staff to enhance skill levels and promote career growth.
• Address and resolve production issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Hold production staff to CPEG quality standards. 

Requirements

What you’re required to have:  

• Associate’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, operations management, related field, or equivalent work experience. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment. 
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role. 
• Strong understanding of production processes and quality control techniques. 
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills. 
• Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Ability to interpret and analyze data to drive process improvements. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team. 
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. 
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts and weekends, if necessary. 
• Strong organizational and time management skills. 
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is a plus. 
• Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred. 
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Nice to have, but not required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, operations management, related field, or equivalent work experience.
