Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Supply Chain Procurement Specialist. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.  

What You’ll Get To Do:

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:

• Sources and procures goods and services of a commodity nature from many suppliers.
• Initiates Requests for Quotations and Proposals and receives same, analyzing proposed pricing from potential suppliers
• Optimizing volume pricing through bid package strategies
• Evaluating supplier proposals and placing compliant purchase orders
• Extracting, monitoring, analyzing, and validating data information from multiple sources
• Developing engaging and collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal partners/customers to drive problem resolution

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. 

Job Qualifications

You’ll Bring These Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience, 3 years with Masters, 1 year with PhD, or 9 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Must have 3 or more years of supply chain, material planning, or closely related experience
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company to meet its business need
• Experience with SAP (business system) or similar ERP system
• Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Professional experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include logistics, manufacturing/project management, business management, leadership, or information systems

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Professional experience in a regulated industry; to include Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications 
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisitions Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 
• Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles, or experiences
• Demonstrated high attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 

Primary Level Salary Range: $71,600.00 - $107,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
