Overview
We are looking for people who love working on innovative technology, always jump at new challenges, and want to learn from some of the best brains in the data movement business to join our team!
This position is for a Senior Software Architect to help build products to allow other third-party systems to integrate with Solace messaging products. In this role, there will be a large focus on learning modern event-driven and messaging systems across the many areas of technology.
In this role, you will:
You will be responsible for the technical leadership of new and existing integration products that allow third-party technologies to move data in and out of Solace products. There will be a mix of prototyping and other hands-on work along with creation of architectural documents. This role provides technical leadership to designers and testers.
- Work with product managers and customers to refine product and feature requirements
- Prototyping integration solutions in a variety of Cloud environments
- Writing high-level architectural documents to lead downstream teams
- Oversee the technical aspects of projects until they are ready to ship
- Be the expert for integration technology
The Right Person:
- Has a strong technical background architecting or leading modern event driven digital projects and deep knowledge of event streaming
- Has effective communication and leadership abilities
- Have experience using or are familiar with Cloud Native Services and messaging platforms, such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or Solace
- Has 7+ years of relevant industry experience and 1-3 years of experience in architecture or tech leadership
Ideally You:
- Have experience integrating a variety of technologies in a production environment
- Have a deep understanding of high-availability and resiliency concepts
- Are a person who deeply cares about the customers, ease of use, and business value.
- Are an excellent communicator who can explain complex technical ideas and can effectively engage with peers, team members, and external customers
- Have a proven track record of exceptional judgement on business vs technical tradeoffs
- Are a team player with attention to detail and a knack for creative problem solving
