- Responds to incoming calls by answering phone, taking messages, and/or transferring to appropriate person.
- Greets and assists all walk-in clientele by answering questions and/or directing to appropriate department.
- Assists other employees (support and professional staff) with work overload.
- Assists with data entry and pick-up/drop-off of items for staff and clientele.
- Assists with program registrations and setup/cleanup.
- Maintains lobby/reception area with updated information/flyers.
- Assists with scanning/filing of program information and documentation.
- Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate County managers.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- One year job-related clerical or office experience.
- Basic knowledge of word processing software.
- Minimum typing of 35 wpm.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and deal effectively with public & employees.
- Bilingual preferred.
SALARY: $15.00 per hour, up to 29 hours per week
