Principal Finance Business Partner

The role of the Principal Finance Business Partner is critical to the financial success of Allianz Technology. The position is responsible for supporting all financial reporting, planning, forecasting and ad hoc assignments for business applications. The person would assure service areas are under financial control, expenses recovered & customer financial commitments met. You act as strategic advisor, collaborating with different departments within the company to provide financial insights and drive business decisions. This position partners closely with multiple ATA service owners and business areas, supporting their customers so that customer financial commitments are met. You will also work with International service owners to align on what occurs locally. You will use findings from analysis to communicate and steer to many stakeholders.
What you do
- Partner with Service Owners, Project Managers & Account Managers to lead planning, reporting, & forecasting cost and demand activities for services supported.
- Support financial planning, reporting and forecasting to parent company Allianz.
- Provide advisory and proactive communication to service owners, FP&A, senior leadership, & parent company.
- Support pricing, new service development, business cases and ad hoc work for services supported.
- Participate and support customer meetings as needed to discuss and review planning & forecast activities.
What you bring
- Minimum 5-years' experience in a financial analyst, FP&A, business analyst or financial business partner role.
- Bachelor's degree minimum, Master's Degree preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Understanding of enterprise finance and accounting process.
- Ability to present and clearly communicate finance "language" effectively across all levels of the organization
- Excellent critical thinking, excel and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated with ability and desire to take accountability for role
- Understanding of Information Technology preferred but not required.
- Understanding of SAP preferred but not required
- Experience at in IT industry preferred but not required
Locations
- Hybrid 3 days/week in Minneapolis, MN or Chicago, IL

- The annualized base pay range for this role is $92,000-112,000. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, and the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the ATA total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, ATA also offers eligibility for an incentive-based annual bonus.
