Come join the team and help us make history!<br/><br/>We are looking for a Senior Fleet Operations Manager who will be responsible for the safety, compliance, availability, and cost of the Fleet in their respective sub-region of Italy. This person will play a central role within the larger fleet organization. <br/><br/>Key job responsibilities<br/>(1) Evaluate health and safety of fleet. They will ensure vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with local regulations by performing audits, providing feedback and trends to leadership.<br/>(2) Support product and programs launches in their sub-region of Italy. To be successful in this role, the Fleet Operations Manager is required to have strong operational knowledge, and understand the conditions of local markets.<br/>(3) Tactically collaborate with multiple stakeholders, internal and external, in order to solve operational needs. The Fleet Operations Manager is responsible for executing a program with ambiguous deliverables and align stakeholders to achieve daily business needs. They will be required to demonstrate the ability to negotiate and influence, showing backbone while dealing with internal and external stakeholders.<br/>(4) Manage deployment and availability of vehicles in their sub-region of Italy. This will require technical expertise to balance tradeoffs between cost, quality, and speed, and escalating to leadership when needed. <br/><br/>This role requires the ability to travel across Italy 20-30% of the time.<h3>Basic Qualifications</h3><br/><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree</li><li>Experience influencing and interacting with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Previous experience in the logistics industry</li><li>Experience developing strong, value-add partnerships</li><li>Proven track record of managing multiple priorities</li><li>Fluency in Italian and English (written and verbal communication)</li></ul><br/><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Master’s degree or MBA</li><li>Experience in mobility services e.g. Car Lease/ Automotive company</li><li>Technical understanding of automotive technology</li></ul><br/><br/>Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
