JOB TITLE: Client Engagement Specialist

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
A Client Engagement Specialist (CES) utilizes our Meteor Core Values to build positive relationships with clients that will translate to sales for our sales teams. The CES is responsible for three key areas:
- Conducting research and analysis through company purchased data and wider search engines to identify client needs
- Qualifying new sales leads and opportunities
- Coordinating with Directors of Market Development (DMDs) and Learning Environment Specialists (LESs)
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting Directors of Market Development and Learning Environment Specialists in developing customer relationships through sales and marketing outbound calls
- Walking with the client through the customer journey while aligning our solutions with their needs
- Booking client appointments and providing introductions to target accounts through prospecting.
- Managing targeted audience identified leads and nurturing those not yet ready to buy while moving lead top-of-funnel prospects down the sales funnel for qualification
- Working closely with studios in executing go-to-market strategies
- Delivering our Brand Promise and acting as an evangelist for Meteor
- Sending follow-up communications (i.e., Executive Briefs, Trade Shows, Website leads, E-commerce and/or Insights leads)
- Aligning CES activities within the framework and strategy of the Sales Enablement Plan
- Maximizing use of the client relationship management (CRM) system ensuring data input and ongoing assessment of client status
- May require other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in business or in a similar field a plus
- 1-2 years prior sales or lead development experience preferred
- Demonstrated CRM knowledge

- Maximizing use of the CRM system ensuring data input and ongoing assessment of client status
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with diverse staff and clientele

- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Ability to study and learn new things quickly while thinking on one’s feet and problem-solving
