POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The project manager is responsible for managing IT reporting, programming, application build, and related project requests. A successful candidate will need to have great interpersonal skills, be self-driven, and have the ability to work with complex groups of both technical and non-technical teams. Having working experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management structures, a general understanding of programming languages and development processes, and strong organization skills are a must.
The incumbent is expected to communicate professionally with peers, supervisors, subordinates, vendors, customers, and the public, and to be respectful and courteous in the conduct of this position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Essential job functions include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.
- Proven experience with Agile and Waterfall project management structures.
- Experience with VBA claims processing engine, or other claims processing engines would be highly regarded.
- Prior experience with SQL Server, VB.net, and C#.net, or any other generally used programming language.
- Meet with end users to discuss the required information to be extracted from the database or mainframe source files.
- Ensures solutions meet business objectives and establishes and maintains a high level of user trust and confidence in IT's knowledge of and concern for users' business needs.
- Makes decisions that are critical in the areas of throughput analysis, problem solving, and infrastructure planning with the potential to affect the successful execution of business transactions.
- Provide excellent leadership skills to guide and direct a wide range of stakeholders and resources to deliver high quality solutions that are on time and within budget.
- Contribute to the daily workflow with regular and punctual attendance.
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Preparation of forms, faxing and copying.
- Organize files and reference materials.
- Performs related or other assigned duties as required or directed.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education: College Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business administration, or related field in the absence of equivalent work experience.
Certification(s) Preferred: PMP, PMI-ACP, CAPM, PMI-PBA.
Minimum Experience: Two years Project Management Experience. Two years experience in a job programming and system support preferred.
Other Qualifications:
▪ Working knowledge of programming theory and various programming software and languages. (i.e. MySQL, C#, Transact-SQL, python, .Net)
▪Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Windows, and Outlook.
▪ Mathematical skills.
▪ Effective oral and written communication skills.
▪ High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
▪ Ability to project a professional image and positive attitude in any work environment.
