<p><b>Build a career powered by innovations that matter!</b>  At Novanta, our innovations power technology products that are transforming healthcare and advanced <span>manufacturing—improving</span> productivity, enhancing people’s lives and redefining what’s possible.  We create for our global customers engineered components and sub-systems that deliver extreme precision and performance for a range of mission-critical applications—from minimally invasive surgery to robotics to 3D metal printing.</p><p></p><p>Novanta is one global team with over 26 offices located in The Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific.  Looking for a great place to work?  You have found it with a culture that embraces teamwork, collaboration and empowerment.  Come explore Novanta.</p><p></p><p></p><p><span>As a Project Manager in our Product Engineering team at our rapidly expanding production site in Prelouc (Czechia), you will oversee sustaining projects and manage change processes related to these projects</span></p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, supply chain, regulatory, and OEM stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic program goals.</li><li>Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including resource planning, cost reduction opportunities, and contingency actions for technical challenges</li><li>Prepare and monitor project plans, resources, milestones, costs, and deadlines with the PE team.</li><li>Ensure projects are delivered on time and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including re-validation and documentation for production readiness.</li><li>Carrying out change procedures to ensure continuous production and support the product.</li><li>Support in cross-site production transfers</li><li>Provide clear and consistent communication to leadership and team members, ensuring transparency, accountability, and buy-in</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging PMP tools, Kaizen methodologies, and agile workflows</li><li>Actively participate in innovation processes and contribute to the development of new solutions in minimally invasive medicine</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical or similar related field.</li><li>5 years of professional experience in managing complex, technical projects in medical device or regulated industries</li><li>Strong proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (Agile, Waterfall, PMP, Kaizen)</li><li>Basic knowledge in plastics engineering is an advantage</li><li>SAP knowledge is an advantage</li><li>Strong written and spoken English skills required; fluency in Czech required.</li><li>Willingness to travel to Ludwigsstadt (Germany) or Berlin (Germany) and other Novanta locations (in the beginning up to 20 %)</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Personal profile:</b></p><ul><li>Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills; ability to inspire confidence and manage change</li><li>High level of empathy, emotional intelligence, and ability to secure team buy-in.</li><li>Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to manage complexity</li><li>Proactive, accountable, and results-oriented, with a global mindset and drive for success</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>Novanta is proud to be an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action workplace.
