The Crane Installer will fabricate and assist with the installation of overhead cranes including runways, hoists, radios, etc. The Crane Installer will also assist in orders, warranty claims, and assembly.  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ability to work with all types of cranes and hoist equipment as well as lifting devices.      
• Fulfill on-site setup calls to install cranes, runways, and additional items pertaining to overhead cranes while able to diagnose any setup issues and determine reasons, nature of difficulty, nature of corrections, adjust remedy malfunctions.      
• Perform any field adjustments needed based on communication resolutions for any changes to the project from the Installation Manger. 
• Forward data to engineering so revised drawings can be developed. 
• Capable of dealing directly with customers and representing self and company in a professional manner. 
• Keeping the customer and management informed of any discrepancy or safety concerning their equipment. 
• Working knowledge of all Federal, State, and local codes for overhead traveling bridge cranes and hoists. 
• Submit reports, daily timecards, and any requested reports on time. 

Requirements

 Education & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred. 
• Ability to work in changing environmental conditions. 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Computer proficiency. 
• Must have a valid driver’s license. 
• Responsibility with company vehicle and equipment.
