Collins Aerospace is currently seeking qualified candidates for entry-level Co-ops in our Military Avionics & Helicopters Flight Management & Controls department located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Teams are composed of cross-functional engineers working in an AGILE environment (approximately 6-10 people) focused on the design and development of software-only products. Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session that will run from June-December 2025 (this includes the Fall semester; it is expected that students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

 

 Products supported with this role include:  

FACE (Future Airborne Capability Environment) - Our software as a product used to support not only navigation, flight planning, and guidance with our MFMS-1000 solution, but also hazard avoidance in real time as part of our Avoidance Re-Router (ARR-7000), which are being deployed on a variety of emerging platforms and next generation pursuits.  Links to more details:

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
